POLICY ON CONSUMER INPUT
The goal of Success Unlimited is to achieve the highest degree of
independence possible for each individual while offering adequate
support to maintain long-term employment and independent living. Consumers
and/or their representatives are provided opportunities to shape the
direction of agency services. This is accomplished by various means
including consumer representatives on the board of directors and
satisfaction surveys. Success Unlimited, Inc. actively recruits persons
with disabilities or consumer representatives to serve on the board of
directors. This offers the best opportunity to identify the needs of
individuals who are currently recipients of services as well as those who
may have future needs. Consumers and/or consumer representatives will
comprise one-third of the governing board. This will ensure consumer input
that values the perspective of those individuals receiving services.
Annual surveys of consumers served provide feedback to the agency on
positive and negative aspects of training and support services and are
evaluated to determine ways to change & enhance service provision.
